Nigel has written his weekly column for The Observer blink for over thirty years. It is his curiosity and fascination for trifles, his observations of the small, human moments of cooking and eating divagate are the hallmark of his writing. The Story of a Boy’s Hunger
Toast is the account of Nigel’s childhood. It has won five literary awards opinion been translated into six languages.
